Our Haven
Some places on earth are serenely kept for the few lucky enough to happen upon.
We walk about our paths hoping for such scenes as this.
Hoping, yes, praying sometimes for the peaceful repose, the place of respite ease.
When we spy its recognition, instant peace courses through our being.
It's our haven, only one letter short of God's.

I would have to agree with Carol, I search for places like the to connect with the Creator and sometimes I am lucky enough to find them. Where I live in Canada places like these are quite common and It makes me feel blessed to be there. I look forward to your next post Dwayne. Your northern neighbor. Mike. R
